The Launch of the The RDS Client Portal

Service and maintenance companies are under pressure to deliver real time reporting to their customers. In the internet age it’s not enough to produce monthly reports to back up work that is being done out on site. In a time where people can track deliveries and taxis in real time, the same is now expected in the building services industry.

Customers are demanding to know when an engineer is on route to a job. They want to be able to view their asset register online and download reports. They want access to key performance indicators (KPI’s) and site history. The quality of information provided to clients is now as important as the quality of the work being carried out.

We are very pleased to announce that in May 2018 we will be launching our latest technology innovation, The RDS Client Portal.

The RDS Client Portal gives you full control of your account with RDS. Key features include raising your own jobs at source, viewing/access to engineer worksheets with full diagnosis/repair statuses, viewing and accepting quotations and monitoring and developing your site asset lists.

With your own unique account and login details you will be able to access all of your site(s) information and reports including service sheets, engineer work sheets and live updates on all logged works with RDS all at your own convenience.

Log a job using the portal and then monitor the engineer whereabouts with maps and estimated arrival times. Live updates at the click of a button.
Using the portal will also give you access to in-depth reporting i.e. identifying common faults, problematic/reoccurring faulty products and also a better understanding of product life and use giving you the ability to build up an asset register of your site(s) products.

Being at the forefront of technology advances and improving our service levels is always top of our agenda, The RDS Client Portal is great example of this and we will feel will be a very important and fundamental service tool for a lot of our customers.
